"Jonah In the Time of the Kings" is a great story about how it might have been during the historical time when Jonah was swallowed by a large fish for refusing to go to Nineveh. But God had a plan and a reason for it all. Loved seeing how life was for a prophet of the Lord during Israel’s adulterous years. Made the story come to life. _JP

Great Read
This book is a work of fiction based on the book of Jonah. The author has compiled a great novel that brings us into the midst of cruel Assyrians (inhabitants of Nineveh - in today's northern Iraq) who conquer ancient Syrians that in turn want to invade divided Israel and Judea. "Jonah In the Time of the Kings" is a great read, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to tap his toes in the time of Jonah. _Verifyed
